FEB 12 Bright ruby. Scented, nuanced, layered, ads more and more with air. Complex nose. Gorgeous even. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, very elegant. Nuanced and flirting as few, very long. Some would dislike it's leanness, but they lack perspective. 94

FEB 14 Bright ruby. Redcurrants, fresh strawberries, some scented notes. Opening with air, spicy and some vanilla. Lovely nose. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, fresh if leanish and lively, quite elegant texture if still slightly rough tannins, long if a bit hollow finish. 90

MAR 13 Tasted this several times lately, this one decanted for about an hour, elegant ruby, scented nose, more open than last two bottles. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, fresh, elegant and quite lively, one of the tighter 07's that needs a bit of air. 91

FEB 13 Bright ruby. Slightly scented, red berries, nuanced nose. Almost flirting. Just as open as a bottle seven hours back, but slightly tighter tannins. Long finish. Needs an hour in decanter now. 91

Bright ruby, strawberries and spices, but on this it's not the flavours that take hold of you, it's the immensely beautiful structure and balance, it's like the softest cashmere, it's so seductive. I have tasted this twice, hope I will soon again. 91

Bright ruby. Scented, fruity, layered and nuanced, superb nose. Maybe ever so slightly herbal. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, slightly rough still, was decanted for about forty minutes, could have had longer. Slightly herbal finish, long. 91

APR 13 Bright ruby. Scented, dark fruits, violets, floral, red berries, raspberries, elegant and nuanced nose. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, fresh, bright, fruity, detailed, playful, elegant, rounded texture, long and seductive. 96

FEB 13 Bright ruby. Spoiled nose by detergents, smelling only of soap first. New wine was poured and layers of fruit, scented tones, floral and touch of leather. Fresh acidity, elegant palate, ripe feel, ripe tannins, lovely balance, rounded texture, long. 92

SEP 10 Bright ruby, garnet rim. More perfume, elegant nose, spicy, strawberries, peppery, some vanilla, very complex and tight knit. Good acidity, ripe tannins, very structured Pinot, grips, fantastic length. 92

JAN 10 Bright ruby, garnet rim. Very strawberry, some hay and herbs, some spicy notes, quite intense. Fresh acidity, slightly green, a bit astringent, some oak, smokey vanilla touch in the finish, good length. Needs time, 5 years at least. 88

MAY 13 Garnet. Scented, floral, some red berries, quite intense, some prunes and leather notes, sous bois. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, elegant fruit and body, refreshing and playful, maturing nicely and for me quite perfect now, still youthful fruit but also mature notes. long. 96
