JUN 15 Pale lemon yellow. Vanilla, spices, minerals, smoky, butter, popcorn, leaping out of the glass, rich and intense nose. Fresh acidity, fruity, rounded, intense, playful, detailed, creamy, intense, ripe and very long indeed. 96

JUL 13 Pale lemon yellow. Minerals, smoky, fruity and lime, even deeper citrus notes, some honey, flinty nose, layered and complex. Fresh acidity, elegant texture, superb and refreshing, very mineraly and citrusy, long indeed. 95

MAY 10 No 268/1210 Bright light lemon yellow. Minerality and flint leaps out of the glass, touch of lime, intense, even so it feels a bit closed for the moment. Schist’s, touch of tropical, so complex you can't believe it, exceptional balance and length, feels so pure, as if all the fruits of this world was freshly pressed and then dripped down through some schist stones and like a rainbow, was secretly whisked away and put into the bottle, as the treasure at the end of this fleeting glimpse of colour. Dear God, what a wine. 96

NOV 10 Served blind, I nailed it just on the nose, both producer and commune. Golden, smokey, flinty minerals with butter and popcorn, and the minerality only gets more intense with air. Fresh acidity, perfect with the vanilla and fatty minerals, superb texture, complex, balanced, somehow pure, incredible length. Extreme! 96
