JAN 15 Lyst rubinrød. Svært reduktiv. Parfymert, røde bær, tight, lukket, trenger mye luft. Det som kommer frem er besnærende. Frisk syre, modne tanniner, røde bær, kjølig, detaljert, stram og tight, forfriskende, lang. 93

2012 Roumier Morey-Saint-Denis 1er Cru Clos de la Bussière
MAR 14 Ruby. Darker berries, floral, scented, spicy and fruity nose. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, fresh and fruity, textured and detailed, could need a few years to polish maybe, but fine already. Long. 93

MAR 14 Ruby. Scented, red berries, elegant and nuanced nose, some darker berries behind. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, fruity, rounded, fresh and elegant, fruity, long. 91

2011 Roumier Bonnes Mares:
JAN 15 Rubinrød. Litt tight men floral, delikat, nyansert, parfymert og klokkeklare røde bær på duft. Frisk syre, modne tanniner, delikat, frisk og livlig, tight, strukturert, intens, frisk, meget lang. Trenger endel år i kjelleren for å integrere fatene. 94

2011 Roumier Bonnes Mares
MAR 14 Bright ruby. Tight nose, red berries, floral and minerals, detailed. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, fresh and fruity, lively, delicate, nuanced and elegant, lovely and even if somewhat shut, pretty open for young Bonnes Mares. Very long. 94-95

2009 Roumier Morey-Saint-Denis 1er Cru Clos de la Bussière

MAY 16 Bright ruby. Scented, red berries, fresh, delicate and nuanced nose, detailed. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, red berries, elegant, detailed, some darker notes, bright red berries, elegant, nuanced, long finish.92

2009 Roumier, Morey-Saint.-Denis, 1er Cru Clos de la Bussière
OCT 11 Ruby, more floral and nuanced, strawberries, touch of mint and spice, "richer" and more rounded Pinot, elegant acidity, ripe tannins, long. 91

2008 Roumier Ruchottes-Chambertin

JUL 13 Another blind. Bright ruby, thin garnet rim. Scented, floral, strawberries, floral, ever so slightly spicy, another gorgeous nose. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, slight roughness to the texture, but more because of its youthfulness.   Lively, pure, elegant fruit, long. Lacks a little bit to be refined, at least at first. 94

2008 Roumier Morey-Saint-Denis 1 er Cru Clos de la Bussière
NOV 13 Ruby. Scented, red berries and slightly spicy nose, whiff of vanilla, quite fruity. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, bit rustic and structured first for MSD but smoother with air. Long finish. 92

2008 Roumier, Morey-Saint.-Denis 1er  Cru Clos de la Bussière
JAN 12 Pale ruby, wild strawberries, herbs and redcurrant's. Tight, towards lean body, fresh acidity, ripe tannins, needs time. For now, 88

2006 Roumier Bonnes Mares Grand Cru
SEP 12 Ruby, perfumed, somewhat floral, strawberries, elegant if tight nose. Took for ages to open, can easily be decanted four hours ahead. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, elegant body with slightly rough finish. The most complete Bonnes Mares I've tasted. Long. 93

2006 Roumier Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru Les Cras
MAR 14 Bright ruby.  Red berries and a slight herbal note that blew off after half an hour, youthful nose and lacked the ripeness of the last bottle and the floral notes of a bottle before that one again. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, fruity and lively, bit lean and again lacked the fuller and more complete feel of the last two bottles. Fairly long. 91

2006 Roumier Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru Les Cras

MAR 13 Served blind. Deepish ruby, garnet rim. MAR 13 Strawberries and floral notes, somewhat rich and sweet, feels both up front and shy at the same time. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, slightly sweet palate, elegant but at the moment a bit staccato. A bit much barrel for now.  Long. 94

2006 Roumier Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru Les Cras
AUG 12 Pale ruby, just a bit edgy nose the first twenty or so minutes. Slightly floral and pure strawberries, very fine-tuned. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, elegant texture, the somewhat edgy first impression disappears and the wine, gets really elegant, if always on the slightly narrow side. Exceptional length. 94

1999 Roumier Ruchottes-Chambertin
JAN 14 Bright ruby. Flirting nose, red berries, delicate, nuanced, floral, scented, lovely nose. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, leaner palate, slightly tight, some herbal notes, vanilla, dies off a bit in finish. 92
