MAY 10 Pale ruby, thin brick rim. So clean, so pure, touch of white chocolate, fresh vanilla, wild strawberries, pure essence, such elegance, focus and perfection, roses, violets, jasmin, caprifolium, like a Nordic garden in a fresh summer night. Lean and tender body, but what intense flavours, great acidity, youthful feel still. Extremely elegant again, complex, transparent and tender at the same time, absolutely fantastic length. Served blind, so all judgements were noted before I had any idea what it was. Had one similar bottle in October 2008. 98

roses and violets. Fresh acidity, pure, intense, beautiful, extremely
refreshing, youthful, only starting to develop, enormous length, elegant and
subtle, even more floral and spice garden with air. 96

OCT 09 Ruby with brick rim, mature, some warm radiator dust as when you start one up for the first time in autumn, leather and dried fruits. Nice acidity, no tannins, and very little flavor, and extremely short finish. After 24 hours in an open bottle, hints of sweet fruit behind a still dusty outlook, now also hints of chocolate and mocha. Light acidic body, some thin fruit like watered down strawberries, hangs on the palate for minutes as a scared little soprano high above the acidic body. Warm storage?

red berries, some earthy notes, floral, delicate, nuanced, detailed and layered
nose, seductive. It just keeps on adding and adding with air. Fresh acidity,
ripe tannins, the tannins getting more mellow, still the wine has structure and
concentration, detailed, fruity and rounded, yet transparent and lucid. Has
depth yet easy to grasp, superb wine, fantastic length. 98
