2009 Lequin-Colin Corton-Charlemagne Back To The Roots
JAN Pale lemon yellow. Sweet yellow fruits, candlelight scents. Flat acidity, lean and unbalanced, easygoing. Had a smashing 08 about six months ago, now this. That was the one time they managed to make great wine. 84

2009 Lequin Colin Bourgogne Blanc
APR 11 Again served blind, and again, I would not even be on Chardonnay if I did not know it was supposed to be white Burgundy. It was sweet, simple, floral and tropical, short. Like some cheap Italian grown in to warm climate something...... 77

2008 Lequin-Colin Corton-Charlemagne Back To The Roots
AUG 13 Only 194 bottles made of this non filtration, bottling directly from barrel and bio or ecological wine. Pale lemon yellow. A rich CC nose, fruity and powerful, yellow fruits, intense and almost smoky minerals, fennel and orange blossoms on the nose. Fresh acidity, elegant and nuanced, lovely balance and an almost creamy finish. Refreshing and long. If they know how to do it at Lequin-Colin, why don’t the on the entire range? 94

2007 Lequin-Colin Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru Morgeot
MAY 12 Pale lemon yellow. Fresh, light of butter and apples. Fresh acidity, elegant, transparent, good length. I think the best bottle I've tasted from this producer.

2007 Lequin Colin Bourgogne Blanc
MAR 10 (double magnum) Pale golden, light, fruity and tropical style, a bit on the lean side, should have had more acidity in 07, easy drinking, perfect for the terrace. 77

2006 Rene Lequin-Colin Corton Charlemagne
FEB 16 Towards lemon yellow. Butter, lemons, apples, light floral notes nose. Fresh acidity, rounded, lemony, fruity, creamy and buttery, bit short. 87

2005 Lequin-Colin Bâtard-Montrachet
APR 12 Premox? Not premox? Is it supposed to taste like this? Towards golden, flat nose of butter and barrels. Lacks acidity, lacks concentration, again barrel notes, feels high in alcohol, slightly burning finish, some buttery texture, to be honest, for a Bâtard, lacks everything. I've never been a big fan of Lequin-Colin, but this must be the lowest so far, but it might be faulty, it might have that starting premox, stripping it of everything fascinating.
This bottle.... 75

2005 Lequin Colin Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru Les Verges
APR 11 Pale golden, again this sweetish notes (that seems to be the hallmark of this house), some minerals, soap and artificial notes. (This was written before I knew the exact wine). Good acidity, simple, some butter and popcorn, short. 85
