APR 08 Ruby red, thin garnet rim. Very youthful, more spicy tones, need a lot of time, strawberries, pepper, vanilla, something more exotic, almost exotic in a way, like the white meat in the coconuts. Very elegant, vanilla, fantastic balance, fresh acidity, pure pinot in the mouth, some red and yellow plums, fantastic and truly elegant finish. Keep. 96

AUG 10 Bright ruby, fantastic nose, complex, some pepper, spices, beautiful strawberries, extremely elegant and noble, pure and just the perfect touch of floral above. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, could easily last a long time still, but it's also beautiful now, great balance and exceptional length. 96

1971 Louis Trapet Gevrey-Chambertin

AUG 11 Pale ruby, broad brick rim, slightly of cooked strawberry jam, earth, elegant nose. Nice acidity, lean body, holding surprisingly well, even with somewhat edgy finish. 84
