MAY 14 Towards lemon yellow. Lightweight but classic Meursault nose, apples, some nuts, light flinty and light smoky nose, touch of butter. Cool sea front. Fresh acidity, leaner palate, fairly intense, delicate and nuanced if not to complex, lively and clean, fresh finish. 89

2004 Pierre Morey  Mersault Les Tessons
MAY 10 Towards bright golden, closed and metallic first, after 15-20 minutes a fantastic nose of touch of butter, nuts and a lemony fresh schists minerality, almost like flint, but softer somehow, with unripe yellow apples just for the freshness of it. Very fresh acidity, mouthwatering, nutty and butterscotch, a bit lean mouthfeel for a Meursault, but ads up in elegance, lively and long finish.
